Spring-Summer 2012 at Ego.

EGO is a Pelonio initiative driven by IFEMA which has become one of the most interesting proposals on the spanish fashion scene. What began as an event outside the circuit of Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week, has become an inseparable part of it, with more than 90 designers who have gathered in their last twelve editions.

September 2011

For EGO´s XII edition the design of the catwalk was based on the thread as the only material in space, being able to create a simple and subtle installation that consists of a geometric screening of this material. The threads are released from frame to frame making a thin membrane between the start of the catwalk and its own development. Alba Cardalda, Shen Lin, Ibai Labega, Luis Manteiga and Ixone Elzo premiered at this edition, and Etxeberria was awarded with L'Oréal Prize for Best Collection.
