Besides the official scene, the city of Murcia offers the best platform for upcoming fashion in Spain.


New talents from different European countries gather every year in Pasarela de Moda Abierta, displaying its most unconventional side and aiming to establish themselves within the industry.

Edition 2010

For the ninth edition of yearly Pasarela de Moda Abierta Murcia fashion show a special guest of honour attended, renowned designer José Castro. An intimate documentary revealing the softer side of a not so eccentric man was screened as a tribute to him. The documentary was conducted by Pelonio and produced by Richard García Vázquez. On the fashion front, two days and nine designers later, a clear before and after legacy of high quality collections was left.

2009 Edition

Pasarela de Moda Abierta Murcia fashion show has a uniquely insightful way of expressing timeless concepts, regardless of those seasons’ trends. Roberto Diz, Ricardo Andrez, Le Freak Ole, Anja and Jean-Paul Lespagnard clearly expressed this individualism at the eight Pasarela de Moda Abierta Murcia fashion show. With the designs and runway transcending the field of fashion two performances by Hidrogenesse and Joe Crepúsculo complemented the setting perfectly.
